April 2025 Prayer and Praise

One of our National Missionaries, Heber Berrocal, serves the Quechua indigenous people in the Andes Mountains of Peru. His enthusiasm and love for the Lord remind me of Les as he works to bring God’s Word to all who will listen. This includes:

 

1.   Jail ministry to men’s and women’s prisons.

2.   Preaching and assisting in his local church.

3.   Ministering to churches sprinkled up the mountain in little pueblos where they only speak Quechua, which he speaks as well.

4.   Translating a Spanish catechism into Quechua for the new believers and also recording the lessons on Facebook for those who can get it.

 

We are so blessed and encouraged to help, encourage, and minister alongside Heber and so many national missionaries just like him. We’ll be sending him a special “side-road-adventure” package of clothes and dolls and other items he can give to those he is serving. I can hardly wait to hear the stories.
