April 2026 prayer and praise

As we watch events around the world, Cuba is much on our hearts and minds. It seems the majority of Cubans here in Miami are cheering for Cuba to be free and desperate for change. It is overwhelming for an entire country to be without electricity, gas, food and even water.

Ed’s March letter, highlighting excerpts from a letter written by Les’s brother Paul, is very sobering to read. I hope you have had a chance to read it. https://www.logoiministry.org/post/there-is-a-river-which-makes-glad-the-city-of-god

Please pray for Cuba and for God’s children to be a light for Christ. Getting in touch with our LOGOI family has never been easy, but right now it seems impossible.

The last paragraph of our March letter said, “I [Paul Thompson] came to Havana and found the city silent. But perhaps in this silencing, people are turning to God and discovering “a river which makes glad the city of God” in ways we could never have anticipated.” (Taken from Psalm 46:4)
