November 2020 Praise and Prayer

PRAISE It’s a wonderful blessing to still be getting thanks —and stories— from my LOGOI “grandchildren” around the world. Many of these “thank yous” are simply because I sent them a note letting them know I was praying for them ever since they signed up to study. What a blessing to get so many personal notes back. I am so grateful for this part of our modern technological world.

PRAYER Over 1,000 LOGOI pastors and lay leaders signed up to take a free certificate course that involves 3 textbooks and exams. These are not quick and easy lessons, but require dedicated time and study. As Covid is still affecting so many around the world, please pray for our students to stick to it despite their struggles. And pray as they study, to have special opportunities to share what they are learning to those in their congregations and neighborhoods, and to be encouraged to keep going.

Here’s a thank you note that just came from Maritza in Colombia:

Dear Carolyn, …I want you to know I took my exam, I passed and am so happy! You gave me joy and gratefulness through your prayers and words of encouragement. Now I want to do more. Thank you! God bless all the LOGOI staff. Thank you for your patience with me.

Let’s keep praying!
