December 2020 Praise and Prayer

PRAISE Christmas is around the corner which means this very strange and crazy year is coming to a close. I can’t think of a better way to end each year —no matter what the circumstances— than celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.

As we have been reporting, LOGOI’s Ministry has flourished during this pandemic with hundreds and hundreds of new Bible students discovering us for the first time. With lock-downs around the world, Spanish men and women serving the Lord of all ages have come to LOGOI to study God’s Word and equip themselves for ministry. Would you be at all surprised that the most popular Bible course this year has been Biblical counseling?

PRAY Please continue to keep our special group of just over a thousand Bible students in your hearts and prayers. They have enrolled in our Certificate Bible Course program which involves three different college level studies. These folks truly are the “workers” in a church and community and we’re so grateful they are studying with us. Many write to say they haven’t been able to begin because of the pandemic and internet problems…and ask for time. (There are no time limits.)

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, all of his children around the world will find joy in knowing we will be with Him some day … forever. In the meantime, we press on to bring more to the Savior as we assist our “national missionaries” wherever Spanish is spoken.
