As I write this, Christmas is just a few days away and 2021 is racing up on us. As we wrote in our LOGOI Christmas card, we can’t think of a better way to end each year than celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Here are praises and prayers all mixed together.
We are thrilled with over 3,500 men and women from all walks of life who have been studying God’s Word through our LOGOI Bible courses in 2020. We know they will share the “Good News” with others because this amazing “Good News” cannot remain silent.
I continue to make myself available to more and more Spanish people who sign up on our website. What a great opportunity this is! Some carry heavy burdens. I get to pray and encourage them along their journey of faith.
I continue to love my assignment of writing to our US donors and friends. What a wonder that God got me started writing letters during my courtship with Les. I have never put the pen (now the keyboard) down. What a blessing to be in touch with so many all around the world.
Of a different note, we are having a significant struggle with the Post Office failing to deliver our self addressed and stamped mail. We have used these for as long as I can remember because they were an efficient and cost effective way for others to send their donations. Today, it has more than doubled the cost of a first class stamp so we will begin asking our ministry partners to add their own postage when sending gifts this new year. It makes me a little nervous — change always does. Please pray with us that it will not affect the ease of giving.
