In central Argentina's foothills of the Sierras Chicas Mountains lies the city of Córdoba, a major industrial hub with a metropolitan population of nearly 4 million, second only to Buenos Aires (with almost 16 million). In addition to its agricultural sector, Córdoba's industries focus heavily on car production and auto parts. Auto enthusiasts may be intrigued to learn that approximately 250 manufacturers of motor vehicles or auto parts operate in the city.

However, another industry in this vibrant city has a far greater impact—one that lasts forever. The "Catedral de Alabanza" church in Córdoba is a thriving congregation, according to our LOGOI National Missionary of the Month, Carlos González. We love hearing the words "thriving" and "church" together. Carlos serves as a deacon at this dynamic church, where he is also a Bible teacher and part of the worship team. In his professional life, he teaches Information Technology and Digital Marketing for the government of Córdoba.

"I grew up in a family steeped in witchcraft and addiction," Carlos shares. "I was immersed in the sin of a godless life with no future. As a teenager, my family was invited to a crusade where we met the Lord. Everything changed. We were set free and began a complete transformation in the hands of Jesus from that moment on."

Today, Carlos and his wife, Analía, are actively serving the Lord not only in Córdoba but also in Berrotarán, Los Cóndores, Río Tercero, and Arenasa (Buenos Aires). "We have the privilege of teaching and preaching in church services and home groups," Carlos says. "This is why I am so grateful for LOGOI's Bible training ministry. It has been essential in equipping us with the necessary training. Thank you very much!"

Carlos continues, "As we became more involved in our church and in ministering to our communities, I realized we could not fulfill our ministry without a strong biblical foundation. Studying LOGOI's Bible courses helped me understand God's Word and teach it with greater excellence. I am also encouraging my brothers and sisters to study and become better equipped to serve.”

While Carlos is grateful for his job with the government of Córdoba, he truly desires to become a full-time pastor. "We have begun a project in nearby Río Tercero," he says. "I can tell you we long for a future pastorate in this region—a desire in my heart that keeps growing.”

Would you take a moment to pray for Carlos and Analía right now? They remind us of so many in our LOGOI family who are answering His call right where they are planted. What a joy to help them better equip themselves for ministry through our on-the-job Bible resources. Carlos adds, "I ask for your prayers that the Lord will continue to guide us as we serve His people in this corner of Argentina." Amen!
