If you are into breathtaking scenery, fjords, lakes, forests, German heritage and the Andes Mountains, then you should visit Puerto Montt, Chile. This popular resort destination city was founded in the 1850s by German settlers and is considered the gateway to Patagonia. Its beautiful surroundings are incredible, the locals are gentle and kind, and the fresh salmon is as good as it gets.
Someone who would welcome your visit is Pastor Juan Luis Guerra Ramirez. He is originally from Peru but came to Chile on a seminary scholarship at the Biblical Fundamentalist Presbyterian Seminary in Chillán . Not only did he excel in his seminary training, he also met his beautiful Chilean wife. They now have four children and a vibrant ministry where Juan serves as senior pastor for his denominational church as well as a leader for their national youth camp ministry.

"I am blessed to have grown up in a Christian home and have known the Lord since my childhood," Juan explains. "For over 17 years now, my wife and I have been in the Lord's work in different areas," Pastor Juan explains, "from working with children and adolescents to teaching and preaching in our church.
"I've known LOGOI since I was a seminary student," Juan tells us. "I was introduced to you by a friend who highly recommended your books and studies. They were a big help to me in seminary, and now, today, LOGOI continue to help me with my studies and messages. The literature and messages. I have also found LOGOI's Bible resources to be very helpful for my personal spiritual life as well as preparing for work with Bible study groups in homes and evangelistic campaigns."

What a blessing to have an ongoing impact on Juan's ministry as well as his personal journey of faith. When we hear stories like his, we're reminded of the significant multiplication effect that God enables in the lives of others as we help, equip, and encourage leaders like Juan.

Would you take a moment right now and pray for Juan? His simple request is that we pray the Lord will continue to use him and bless him as he proclaims the Good News. And as you pray, remember to thank the Lord for allowing us to be part of His work in proclaiming the Gospel around the world…even in the beautiful city of Puerto Montt.
